Electrical connector under seat
Trying to remove my passenger seat. All four bolts are out but now I need to remove the connector. Bentley says just pop up slider and remove. I have lifted plastic tab and the two pieces won't seperate. Any suggestions? Seems like every electrical connector has issues. They are all like new. I think they design them so you will break and need to buy another.

All set. Found instructions though don't know what aft of seat means.

In nautical terms, aft means behind. This is coming from a 30 year submarine sailor (navigator).

Did you get it removed? A piece slides out and then it releases. When reinstalling leave the piece out, connect it, then slide in to lock.

Yes. Funny how much Bentley leaves out. I am hoping this will be the worst part of the water pump replacement. Hopefully the hose comes off willingly from the wp. I got the clamp to loosen and spin. I still don't have the wp so I am leaving in place for now. All the hoses are in great shape which makes me wonder if the water pump has been replaced.

When you remove the water pump, note that some of the bolts are longer than the others. The lengths are similar and you wouldn't notice it if you weren't looking for it.
I saw posts from folks who were trying to sort it out after losing track of which bolt went in which location. |

Too bad Porsche couldn't have instilled that same level of quality everywhere else in the car - like the water pump or AOS. |

Could you please take a picture of the connector and the plastic clip that slides out to allows the connector to be disconected? Thank you in advance! Gilles |
