Why are threads backwards here?

I START AT #1, then realize I have to go to page 27 then scroll down 15 posts, then read backwards!?&%$!

Never have seen a layout like this, any reason why?

Don't worry - you can change it.

Click on "user CP" in the upper left of any page.
Choose "edit options" in the left bar.
Then scroll down to "thread display options," and the drop down you see in this pic is how you change it.

Thank you Craig! I've been trying to change that preference for a while now. I rarely log on using my computer and couldn't figure out how to change it from my phone. Followed your instructions and I'm set!

Thanks for this post I didn't enjoy coming on here for the same reason, happy as a Pig in ******************** now, will log on more often.
It must be set set up that way from the first time you register as the standard set up way, no other forum (that I use) works that way so would it be worth changing it ? need a moderator to answer that one.
Guvs.
