Looks like a custom paint job, a wrap or even a well done plastidip. Gun metal grey or so, I like it.

A guy in the car club has a GTR done like this. Shade is a little darker but his was a wrap. Looked very nice even up close

It's a wrap, there are plenty of places that sell and install them now.

Is there any regular paint which looks like this? (The wrap I've done in the past haven't last very long.)

Of course, there are many types of paint and varying quality. I suggest you find a local professional of some sort and seek help.

I know matte paint/look is very in right now. The matte gray look like primer to me. But what can I say my Boxster has factory chrome wheels which even in 2002 were out of fashion so I can't say much. To each his own and I'm glad for it.
