Aluminum diagonal brace

I want to take off my rear sway bar but noticed the aluminum diagonal brace is in the way. Is it as easy as just in bolting the 14 fasteners or is there something else I can mess up my taking off. It looks straight forward but you never know.

Yes, it's that easy but I've heard you should have an alignment after. Some have used ratcheting straps to get bolts to line up but mine was exactly where it was when taken off.

Do those sway bar bushings and drop links. Cheap and easy.

The rear sway bar comes out easily without removing that brace. Back up on ramps. Then simply unbolt drop links ,remove bushing clamps and slide sway bar out to the passenger side. Installation is reverse. Don't even need to remove tires. I did mine this way.

If you do decided to remove the brace put the car up on stands instead of ramps. Stands are less likely to throw you out of alignment. Ask them to check the alignment before you pay to have it aligned, there is always a chance the alignment will not have been affected.

I had my car supported on the frame and removed this bracing when I installed new rear wheel bearings. I had no problems at all installing and all the holes lined up. I did not get a realignment

If you don't have any weight on them (jack stands ant wheels off), the bolts and nuts on the bewce will be very easy to install
