Is this exhaust too loud?
My wife would love that.....not . But I think it sounds pretty nasty.
Yep, too loud. Find the middle ground between the two
For a Harley? No.
would like to hear it in person, sounds good but I am not sure if the sound matches the car though, never really liked muscle cars though
Everyone at the tech school that I am doing dual credit classes at would find my car way cooler if it sounded like this.
haha yeah I don't see keeping them on for long, but fun in short sprints :) So far I've only driven it home from work and it is just sooo nasty, like NASCAR rowdy.
Car show this weekend so I figured why not :D |
Awesome! Sounds just like my old Fbody with an SLP loudmouth exhaust .
Holy Cow! Great sound. Now you can experiment with different setups and make it sound any way you like.
There is a saying: Loud pipes save lives. :D ;)

Well, everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I think it sounds like a high school parking lot where the kid who can't afford a muscle car takes off his muffler to make more noise. But hey, it's not mine. If you like it, good for you!
Kind of hard to tell how loud it is on a video, but it definitely says "Everyone look at me, I'm bad ass!" Not to my taste for sure.
I'm sure glad every car that drives past my house each day doesn't sound like that (that's why there are noise regulations !). Could get annoying, like f**king Harleys! |
Looks and sound is a matter of taste. I like it. But then I ran SuperCups on my 993 and loud pipes on my Harley. Normally, YouTube videos don't do exhaust sounds justice. I think yours does!

I could not imagine that as my neighbor's truck. |
For the record:
Drove it like this all weekend. Neighbors didn't seem to mind when I fired it up just after noon yesterday, drove by several and hardly got a second look. Did however get several looks pulling back into my hood last night while all the trick or treaters were out. Hopefully they were scared, it was Halloween after all :) Fired it up a little after 8AM Sunday morning, decided to let it roll down into the street before firing it up as to not piss the neighbors off too badly... Naturally the thing didn't fire up on the first crank and let out a backfire bang that probably would have rivaled my AR-15 :) OOPS. Fired it up and rolled out slowly, haven't had any complaints... yet~ On the way to the car show I took the backroads through the heart of East Cobb rather then the highway. This is not the yuppiest area around but pretty damn close. Well I totally forgot about the big church I had to drive by that ALWAYS had cops blocking traffic so people can cross the street and today was no exception... Well I decided to hold back a few car lengths from the car in front of me and was about 4th back in line, in the fast lane. Once they let traffic go the retreated to the inside of the road, right next to my lane... FABULOUS. Well I kept the revs as low as possible as I cruised by them but was still up to about 2K or so... played it cool and through out the thumbs up - AND TOTALLY GOT A THUMBS UP BACK!!! Got to the show and to say the least she drew quite a crowd so I ripped all the panels off and showed off my handy work. Quite a different reaction from a few months ago when I pulled in with the mufflers on!! I didn't have my camera rolling but saw a few out there so maybe something will show up on You Tube~ :) Drove home past the same cops @ the church - THUMBS UP AGAIN :p Conclusion: Is it too much ALL the time, YES. Would I do it again, YES. Will I make another exhaust system for it, YES. Will cops immediately pull you over for noise pollution, NO. (Verified 4x. Wasn't driving like an ass.) Does it sound so awesome that you forget you even have a radio in the car, YES. Can you order food at a drive through or talk on the phone while driving, NO. Oh and deceleration sounds like small arms fire :) |
'king badass, love it. :D

Shelby is smiling down upon you.
