Missing fuse

1997 Boxster driver's side rear relay panel has one 40 amp fuse and an empty slot to the right on the outside of the relay panel that is empty. What is missing and could this be the reason tach and speedo don't work? Thanks to all for your help

There are a few open spots on the panel and you need the full fuse panel layout to determine which.

The non working gauges are probably a loose connector at the back of the gauge set. You have to take the cluster loose to check the plugs. Not hard to do at all.

May have something to do with DME relays in the trunk. I thought one or two run the tach & speedo.
