Broken Interior Roof Latch

http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1445031254.jpg

As you can see from the photo, the interior latch has fallen away from the interior on my 986. I figured it was an easy fix, just tighten the screws back in, but there is 2 plastic threaded pieces inside the frame which the screws tighten to, both of these have broken in half inside the frame and now there isn't anything for the screws to bite into (if you look at the photo, the hole on the right, you can see the broken pieces inside there). Does anybody know how to get the broken pieces out of the frame as the fragments won't come through the frame holes, and then get new plastic pieces inside the frame.
If anyone has done this repair, I would love to hear how it can be fixed. Thanks.

There is a fix fir that.
I'm posting from my iPad, so I don't have the file in hand, but the threds can be replaced.
If no one will do it first, I'll send you the DIY on Monday.
