Boxster overfill of antifreeze/collant

Has anyone experienced any issues when you accidentally over filled your coolant tank? OR..... Is there a chance the overflow could come out from the radiator instead of the tank, or could I have scraped something on the underside of the front of the Boxster and I get a little bit of antifreeze :mad:fluid dripping slowly.

Only had car a month. Trying to learn all about it.

More likely a hose issue. The radiator won't get a hole from overfill. There's a relief valve on top of the reservoir.

The plastic rad connections are weak to begin with and only get more brittle over time...

Water always runs to lowest spot but a quick pressure test on system will identify leak. On the good part, Boxster rads are easy to get to and replace if need be.

Good luck :)

Bob,
Suggest you post asking for referral to a Pcar Indie in your area. They will know exactly where to look for leaks.
