Roll hoops

Why is it that the boxster has roll hoops and the 911 cabriolets do not? Is it because of the back seats? I would love to take the roll hoop out of my boxster it just seems in the way to me, maybe I'm weird.

Sorry, but that would be a very dumb ass move
Trust me, you would be happy it is there if you roll the car
also 911 cabs from at least 996 onward have have popup roll protection
You just hope you never see them

Oh I would never seriously consider removing them I know how important they are and the seat belts happen to be attached to them. I just like the cleaner look of the 911 when the top is down

whew
Ya had me worried for a moment

The 911 does have a different look. IMO, I like the look of the roll hoops. Gives the car a sportier/racier look
