Replace lost front drain grommet?

I have a 99 boxster. While trying to install the update brake booster bellows kit I tried to clean out the drain hole grommet under the brake mechanism to the right of the battery as you are standing in front of the car (USA spec). Needless to say I pushed it in and couldn't get it back through the hole. So my question is if I don't replace the grommet where does the water drain too? Should I replace the grommet? If so how can I get to it to re-install it? Am I better off just buying a grommet and popping it in? I would like to resolve this as painlessly as possible since I am installing the update to the brake booster bellows I don't want to get a flood elsewhere. Can I just buy another grommet and hose and install it? If so anyone know part numbers?

Resurrection of an old thread - but I'm having a similar issue with I think the gromet is missing, does anyone have a picture of how this should look?
