Here they are. The "standard" turbocharged 911s.

I ran across this detailed report on the about-to-be-released standard 911s that apparently spell the end of the normally aspirated flat-6.

I have yet to drive a turbo that doesn't have any turbo lag (including all of the newer BMW's). Less lag than most 80's turbo's for sure, but its still there. Maybe Porsche finally solved it... (or not). Have to wait and see.

All that video really showed me was just how special a 991 targa GTS will be in 50 years. Particularly since as of yet Porsche only has the new turbo cars listed on the sight as available in cab and coupé, with now 4 wheel drive option or GTS variants.

(Also worth noting, when I went to look this up, Porsche had updated their cover photo, it used to have their 2 SUVs, 3 sports cars, and the panamera.

Now the Cayman is missing, guess they're getting more willing to admit they are the same car lol)

I'm skeptical about the lack of lag, as well as those mpg claims. I also wonder about longevity, since the concept takes smaller engines and puts more pressure on them.
I guess time will tell, when we finally get real-world comparison tests and long-term tests from owners, critics, and journalists. I'll admit they sound good.
