If you are describing the "soft touch" interior finish that scratches easily then I have heard there is a dupli colour interior paint product that comes pretty close to the finish. Best to try it on a door pocket lid first or something easily refinished or replaced.
I have a 2000 S and its all over....not sure what to do to prep and refinish so that everything matches

I believe it is or was in the dupli colour interior paint range....I do recall it being discussed online......somewhere. It appears there has been a change to the product line of late. Perhaps a call to sales rep might yield samples that could be compared with our interiors
I tried a search on here and it yielded nothing. It may have been on Renntech.....sorry I too would like to know. I was hoping the post would jog some memories
I found black Plasti-dip to be a great match to refresh old, tired, and sticky rubber-coated Becker Porsche factory radio knobs, but I haven't tried using it on any other surfaces, and I'm not sure how well it will withstand UV exposure.
"homeboy 981"...there was a thread where he redid his interior and the info you are looking for with the duplicolor paint is there I think.
