Central locking and window drop

Hi I have an 02 986s. The drivers door seems to be the issue. I don't have window drop or manual central locking (with key) the button works fine. Also the door light doesn't come on when opening the drivers door. I also get two chirps when locking and the red light stays on in the dash for the lock button. Niggles!! any advice greatly appreciated.

Bad microswitch(es) in the drivers side door lock mechanism.

If all these things are happening on the same door, I would say it's a problem with the wire harness on that door. I haven't checked with my 986, but an many newer cars, because there are so many electric items in the door, and to facilitate door removal, there is a wire harness plug that connects the door electrics to the rest of the car. It's normally in the door jam near the hinge. I would start there.
