Radiator vent paint color

I picked up a sweet 1999 black Boxster for my wife and the front grill vents are faded gray, should I paint them flat black, semi gloss or what?

Thanks,

Dan

They were originally unpainted black.

S-models have them painted titanium metallic

Garage
Mine faded after a few years and I used Back-to-BlackŪTrim and Plastic Restorer
MothersŪ Back-to-BlackŪ Trim & Plastic Restorer

Brought it back to new looking again and was very happy with results.

Thanks, I'll try some treatment before I paint them.

I painted mine matte black, but that was when I had the bumper off and those removed. Maybe try cleaning and restoring before going the painting route. I've used plastic restore on other parts and it works pretty well too.
