axel or linkage where do i start
did a little burn out in my box s then drove some twisties about 5 miles and turned on my street and no gear would propel me forward. the clutch has a normal feel engine sounds fine when i start it. but i can shift into all gears without depressing clutch
|
When my clutch went out I could also move the gear lever into all the gears without depressing the clutch.

Get under the car and see if an axle came off the transaxle.
|
There was a thread a while ago with something similar and the bolts fell out where the axle connects
Burnouts are not a good thing in a Porsche BTW. We don't have drag cars, but precision driving contraptions. |
thanks I,ll have look. I know I shouldn't do burn outs, only done it twice at my three grand boys request. they liked it, smoked the hell out of my tires, hope it doesn't cost too much to fix. can someone explain in detail what and where and what I should be looking for? THANKS MUCH
|
I'll only explain it in detail if you post pictures of Atlantis. I've always believed!!
So, where did it end up being, and how did you manage to buy there? |
I'll give you the location if you give me the details and a pic of the area I'm looking for. really need the help disabled with heart/lung disease and discs L2,3,5 bulging {mostly from underwater re-modeling} lol

It's dark out and my spot in the garage is being used to spin honey. I'll take a pic later, but you would be able to hear and feel the gears working and spinning the trans if it was the bolts sheared. I'll say clutch failed disengaged.

timco thanks for your input, really. btw post a pic of your lady friend Honey spinning. Loved spinners for 40 years : )
