Porsche Rennsport Reunion...

Since my Boxster CEL came on again after changing all the 02 sensors with Bausch brand. I'll probably will still have my Porsche the weekend of this event. I was going to trade it off for another toy but now I have to fix the CEL.

Anybody going to this event or have been to one like this in the past? I have a photo gig that same weekend in Pacific Grove and I could make the trip a day early to attend. Below is a blurb I cut and pasted from the net...

"Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca announced today that the next Porsche Rennsport Reunion will again take place at the famed California racetrack the weekend of September 25 – 27, 2015."

I was there in 2011 for all three days. That was the first time I ever attended such an event and it was amazing. So many Porsches and so much to see. And great folks. You are also allowed in the paddock where they are preparing the cars for the races. Lots of vendors too.

I am going back this year for all three days and booked a spot in the Premier Pit Row Suites and I am doing a parade lap(s) on Saturday.

Even if you only stop by for a day, do it. You will not be disappointed.

I will be there all three days and will be parking cars in the Porsche Corral Saturday morning. My buddy Craig and I move around the track a lot to photograph the cars at different positions. The event is a full three days of fun if you like racing. I was at the track two days ago for the Ford North American Track Tour where a select group of us got to track test the 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang and it was blistering hot at LS. If it is that hot at the end of September it will be a necessity to keep hydrated and get in some shade for a while. I wouldn't want to be racing in those conditions so my hats off to those that do.

I'll be in the area and stopping by for a day. Can't wait.
