Durametric Results - Take a Look

I just got a Durametric. The reason was that I have an intermittent problem with my alarm system where it beeps twice when I disable it. Also, the red alarm light will go on and off also intermittently.

Anyway, long story short. It was suggested to check the last few alarm codes on my car with a durametric so I bought one used.

When I plugged it in, I was able to see a lot of info on my car but I was not able to see the last alarm codes (it says no faults). Here are some screen captures.

Additionally, it appears that some time ago, the car was revved beyond the redline.

Finally, for some reason, I cannot read how many VINs are left.

Thanks, John

I believe that if it doesn't list any VINs, then no VINs are stored. I just gone mine used, also. I know it was used on my car and 1 other, but it still has no VINs stored.
If no alarm faults are listed, then none have been recorded.

No ignitions beyond redline for me
2507 operating hours.

mine doesn't seem to log the VINs either, I would not worry about it. that just gives you more cars you can connect to LOL

As far as the over revs, it counts ignitions, not seconds. Each rev of the engine has 6 ignitions.
Someone posted the formula to figure out how many seconds it was overreved

I try to keep it under 6k, but I was sure that I'd overdone it a time or 2...I guess not

^^
ya got to get out to the track.
If you are pushing it, it is likely you will hit the rev limiter a few times
No harm, no foul unless you over rev it downshifting, then you will get range 2 ignitions

I think I figured out the formula

ignitions / (redline*6) *60 = seconds of over rev

409 range 2 ignitions = ~ .57 seconds of overrev

Have you changed the factory stereo ?

If so you have to remove the contact wire in the dash and tape it off.....the car thinks someone has stolen your stereo unit....this will give one beep of the horn.
