I've never seen a fire season this bad, and I'm a lifelong PNW resident. 38 separate active fires in OR/WA; 240,000+ acres in one 'fire complex' alone; 5,000 homes are in danger in a very remote area of WA state; there has been a request for volunteer citizen firefighters (something I have *never* seen) as they cannot contain the fires with the number of firefighters they have.

There is smoke in the sky above Calagary as a result of these fires! Well condensation nuclei and haze anyway......just incredible

Smoke here too. ID, CA, OR, WA. Every day is brown haze.
