Turtle Wax Jet Black
 

Hi,

Just wanted to let those of you with black boxster's know, this product was pretty incredible.

Used it a couple of weeks ago on my '98, and it simply erased all kinds of small paint chips and even the very faint swirl marks in the clear coat.

The package was easy to use and only 20 bucks.

One tip...USE gloves. The pre-wax cleaner and the wax product are both liquid black and kind of messy.

The results were pretty spectacular.

Would recommend this to anyone.

I went to buy this after seeing it advertised & having used the black polish for years & loving it. Got to Auto Zone & saw it's only available in a kit which I don't need since I have plenty of the polish & I'm selling my 2007 IS350 I use it on. So I buy the Meguirs black wax. It is the easiest wax to apply & remove I have ever used, & as I have learned if it buffs off easily it won't last long. Car looks stunning for 2 days but won't bead water on the 3rd day.

This is the most beautiful paint I have ever seen & this car will easily out accelerate any 986 S. Needs nothing, just bought a new one for my wife. $17,K & 95K miles. PM me for more info as I don't want to derail this thread.

I think Turtle also has the Black Detailer, which from what I've read is basically a quick detailer with tiny black fillers to fill in tiny scratches and make your black car shine a little more.

I have the Turtle wax red and when its first applied, it looks great for up to about 3 weeks, depending on how many times I wash the car and how many times the car gets rained on.

For black cars----Don't forget the trick by using a fine tipped Sharpie to help small areas.

Caution,find one that dries truly black without a slight off black tint in the direct sun!
