Problem with multi-function steering wheel
 

Hi, all. I have a new 2006 Boxster S and have chosen the multi-function steering wheel option. The thumbwheel on the right side has been giving me a problem since day one. It seems to be too "sensitive", and the selection becomes difficult, if not impossible, especially when driving. The Porsche dealer has replaced the steering wheel once, but still the same problem. They say that this problem has appeared on other new Boxsters and Caymans, and it is a software problem. They say it cannot be rectified at present!!!

Any one else having this problem? I'd love to know and get some suggestions/updates!
