radio screen out
 

The battery died the other day on my 2002S and I found out it doesn't have a manual cable to open the trunks when the car battery dies. I tried several times to jump the current using the pull out terminal in the fuse panel. I kept thinking the buttons to the trunk switch would light up that I didn't notice the lid had popped. Installed the new battery and the radio screen show no numbers or letters and barely lights up. I put the code in (blind as no screen) and the radio works but the CD player doesn't work. Any suggestion or like experiences?

Take the faceplate off and wife down the contact points. This may help.
