I picked up my favorites, then put them high on a shelf. A few days later my grandson came over and I realized that I could not keep them for myself.

Too cool! I have 5 or 6 NA Miata models I bought on clearance years ago. I have no idea what I'm doing with them.

I just bought the new Porsche Lego sets

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one around here who collects toy cars. Most of mine are from the 70/80's when I was a kid. My mom had stored a box of them in her attic. I was up there one day and saw them sitting there. I grabbed them and now they sit on a shelf at my shop. Now anytime my wife or I see anything Porsche related at an antique or thrift store, we grab it for the shop.

Cool! I collected the entire set, although it took a few weeks to fnd the elusive ones.
A good addition to my Matchbox and Pocket Cars Porsches I've had since the '70s. :)
(anyone else remember Tomica Pocket Cars? I liked them as a kid because they were more realistic looking than the other brands)
Either way the Hot Wheels Porsche Series was a pleasant surprise.

I remember my very first Porsche. I still have it (and one day I hope to have a similar life size 911SC or 964). I was always partial to the Martini colors, this car is probably why.

The 911 is a Hot Wheels, but I was always partial to MatchBox. I remember when they came in actual boxes (I think that stopped in the 80s?).

I got this for my birthday in 2nd grade or something.
I think I was more excited than when I picked up the BoxsterS.

that series was at Walmart about two months ago. My kids picked them all up in front of me and had me pay for them for MY birthday. That's how it goes. :)
