Headliner strap

These elastic straps (one on either side) have come loose. They don't seem to affect the top seating outside in the rail, but very much affects the headliner inside lining up in the rail. Where do they attach? Watched a bunch of videos related to straps on 986 convertible tops and this doesn't seem to be the one the videos address. Also, all of the videos have one thing in common: they don't seem to clearly show where to attached to straps either.

The strap fishes all the way to the bottom, to the horizontal pivot point also occupied by a wide horizontal plastic clip. You need to remove the wide plastic clip to be able to get the hook around the pivot. Took a while, but I got mine back on. This photo is looking from the rear with the top in service position.
