I'm going to have a Nephrite Green interior car someday. Hopefully with an Ocean Jade Metallic exterior.

Nephrite Green is awesome with some exterior colors, but I don't think Speed Yellow is one of them...

All I have say is :barf:

That looks fugly in the pictures....wow.

People on drugs should not special order cars.
Ever.

BIGJake111 07-10-2015 08:07 PM

It doesn't work. But that makes it seem like a gemballa, I think I like it because it doesn't work, kinda novel.

911monty 07-10-2015 08:21 PM

Reminds me of some of the hideous stuff that came out in the 70's:barf: And yes I'm sure drugs before, during and after ordering those cars were heavily involved.

I read the title and thought, no way. I had to click thru just to see it for myself. It was true.

Speechless.

It deserves all the attention it's getting. It's just that good!

Throw in some blue floor mats and Brazilian soccer fans will scoop it up in a heart beat!

Go packers!

At first, brain told eyes, "No, no, ...no.", but I keep going back.

I did a quick image search for "colors that don't work" and there were actually quite a few with those colors.

Found these that actually carry the theme nicely:

If I had 17k sitting in my PayPal, I'd probably be top bidder at the moment. :D

In Colorado, he was probably smoking something pretty good :p. I actually like it, sort of. Price is high though. I got my 2003 S for $2,500 less, although it isn't yellow and green ;).

But it isn't even close to the right color of green! Shocking there are no bids:confused: Definately a candidate for an interior swap.

Six owners. Six people looked at that color combo and said, "I must have."

I'm telling you guys, it's not ugly. It's fine art.

That is awesome and awful at the same time. I am surely too conservative to ever go for it but not surprised some people will. I have to say I do love yellow though. I saw one on the road a little while back and it was quite eye catching in a good way.

husker boxster 07-11-2015 08:01 AM

If it's not 1 of 1, it should be.

Quick math says 6 owners = 2.5 yrs and 6500 mi per owner. Each probably bought it and then realized what a mistake they made (or friends had to tell them). I like the "Finally got the strength to put my baby up for sale" quote. That could have several meanings.

Car fax says the following;

Sold: Jan, 2000 (original owner)
Sold: Sept, 2002 with only 885 miles! (owner refused to be seen in public in the car?)
Sold: Feb, 2007 with 20K miles (this owner was proudly flying those colors!)
Sold: Mar, 2010 mileage unknown
Sold: June, 2013 mileage unknown
