Frankensteins and such

This may have been covered, so excuse me if it has. Lots of discussions of the Chevy LS series engines being put into Boxsters, We have seen Subaru and Audi power plants either being planned or actually adapted. So I wondered why has not a late model Cayenne small V8 been done...it would still be Porsche and much more HP than stock.

Also for cheap and reliable (while still an abomination) a late Nissan 3.7 has good HP and super reliable...also low milage engines in good shape can seemingly be had for well under 2 grand....well under
