Nice pickup. Whatever happened to the red light reflector on the C4 or C4S? Or is that on another model?

The 997.1 did not have the reflector, it came back with the 997.2 C4(S) (see my avatar)

Congrats! It's always nice for our Boxsters to have a friend!

your Boxster had at least another 300K miles on it...
But a 9 year old car that still looks brand new is pretty smart.
I doubt a non-Porsche person could tell the difference between any 997 and the 991 if parked next to each other.
The wallet on the other hand will feel the difference.

What do you California guys do with C4's? Go off road mudding?

I still find my Boxster more fun to drive than our 996 Targa. The extra HP in the 996 is nice, but for pure driving fun, 986 all the way!

Well,

#1: I like the wider hips of the C4S model vs. the "narrow body", and as we all know "hips don't lie" ;)
#2: With the 4WD I am the king of every wet track day :D and it also has saved my bacon a couple of times on dry conditions :cheers:

That's for sure. I'm on my fourth one. I went four years without when I needed something more practical and the withdrawals were terrible.

Just over 40k and it looks new. Bought it from Mclaren dealership in SF. Can you believe it, someone traded it in on a Mclaren... Go figure.

Drive them on the beach of course. :D
