Hmmmm.......I like airplanes and I like cars, but this? Not so much!

OKCShooter 06-12-2015 07:09 PM

I'm sure it's a wrap...so not harm, no foul.

I'd rock that for a couple months.

I'm kind of the same way as you on this, the Ferrari lines do play well with this, but it's a Ferrari.

I think the Ferrari looks pretty cool but the crapcan just looks stupid

BRAN 06-12-2015 11:18 PM

Hmmm...that mouth, wrong proportion, wrong position, it needs to be redone or removed...otherwise EXCELLENT.

Designwise, my cup of tea. Why go back to Ferrari red, yawn...like everybody else :D

Would look cool on a 356 ;)

Did the US and the Italians ever do any joint ventures?

You are right...either the star needs to go or has to be repainted in green-white-red

Hmmm...joint ventures, well Fiat Chrysler ... kinda sorta :D

cool find, Timco!

Hummer-addict 06-13-2015 08:32 AM

I like it....wouldn't do it to a Ferrari but would do it to my Hummer 4 sure...what do these wraps cost?

Giller 06-13-2015 08:52 AM

Certainly unique. I kind of like it, at least as a one-off. Thanks for sharing!

Back in 2000 during a redeployment flight, I stopped at an Italian airbase for refuel and saw an Italian F 104 Starfighter land. I had remembered seeing pictures of them as a child in the 1970s and was amazed and thrilled to see one still in service, flying.

Here's an image clipped from the video I made (VHS-c camcorder).

Alright, enough nostalgia. Back to my brake flush/caliper swap.

Wrong in so many ways. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Nicknamed "The Widowmaker", one engine, tiny wing. Very unforgiving but really cool.

Suppose to be the hummer replacement, better gas mileage and more maneuverable

papasmurf 06-13-2015 06:34 PM

I wrap cars for a living

and the place I work at usually gets about $2500 for a full wrap on a smaller car and 3500-3700 on something the size of an F-250 or full size SUV like an excursion. The color change wraps may run a bit cheaper since there is no printing/laminating involved but it is a very detailed and involved process to do correctly. I love the 458 wrap...very unique and different than the matte black and chrome wraps all the celebrities do.
