So I'm curious about the logistics behind the general availability of Litronics for the 97-2004 cars. Is Porsche still getting a lot of orders for these such that they will continue to make them and continue to have a high price for them? Or is it a case of they have lots made already [maybe too many] and will at some point get rid of them cheap?

I'm asking because I'd certainly like a set, but not for $1200 USD. I'm hoping that they discover that they've got too many, find that the rate at which they are selling is too low and blow them out (kind of what I found happened after my one of my Hondas went through a major body style change and Honda found they had too many air conditioning units lying around; they got rid of them cheap).

[Anxiously and in cheapskate fashion hoping that I will be able to land a set for $500...]
