Car stalled while driving, restarted, no CEL

Hi Everyone,
I have a sudden problem with my 2004 Boxster. Before this incident, no problem or signs of any problems while driving. While driving home from work yesterday, car felt under-powered for a second or two (nothing too major, just enough for me to notice) then about 2 miles later suddenly stalled (normal driving at ~25mph). No noise, no surges, just an RPM drop and the car was off. Car would not restart for about 2-3 minutes, then started back up and I drove home.

Any ideas what could cause this? No problems with the car to date, and nothing other than a couple moments of power loss and a sudden quit. It was hot out (~85F), but nothing too crazy. The car starts and idles fine as well. Felt like perhaps it was electronic, but I would like to hear other opinions. DME relay?

Thanks! Kyle

Had similar issue a year+ back. Car just died at a red light, cranked ok but would not start. After 4-5 minutes it started ran fine to work. On the way home same thing but this time I could only drive 3-4 miles at a time until it stalled, wait 5-10 minutes until it restarted.
It was my Fuel pump relay. Cheap easy fix

That's great news. I will try this!

Same thing happened with MY02 a few years ago, less than $20 part.

Or entire fuel pump.
