Had my car machine polished, what a big mistake, the front bumper and bonnet are just peppered with tiny stone chips, and they start to fade just coming up onto the wings.

anyone got any ideas to mask the problem to make it look better without going down the expensive route to have re-sprayed.

My black 03 looks like the front end has been blasted by pea gravel. I bought a wax that is black which fills in and hides the chips to some extent.

If you can find a USA produced paint touch up product named "Dr. Color chip" in the UK, I certainly recommend it.The cost is about 40 to 60 USD.

The president of the company attended one of our large events and demonstrated the product on my car to the crowd.My car is Arctic Silver but it works very well on all colors.

When there are many tiny chips,the literature refers to it as "road rash" rather than "chip repair." For your situation, a small plastic spreader is included and a larger amount of product is utilized.You need to specify that you have "road rash" to get the spreader.

I bought 3 kits,one for each of my 3 different colored cars.Good luck!

I'd like to see what that product is capable of, as my DD Forester is all road rashed on the front bumper too and looks pretty ugly.

I second Dr color chip. Used it on my seal gray car and it works very well. After use you need to give it 30 days to cure before using a machine cleaning method.

I just use a Sharpie to color in the chips on my car.

Boxster Steve-My camera is pitiful and Arctic Silver is one of those colors that require very up close shots to see the results-sorry.

I've used this product. Works well on small chips but it is difficult to fill larger chips.
