I've read that in some German cities they are banning entrance of cars beyond a certain age, which would limit the benefit of owning something classic (although certainly the avenue I would take). I would also do what I do here when cities pass ridiculous laws - I don't go there.

.. so going back to old school mechanics, with MG's, 1970's - 1980's porsches, BMW's Mercedes etc etc, involves tuning with a timing light, distributor rotor arms, plugs etc..

People are getting fed up with being ripped off, so going 'old skool' !
