Help with Porsche badge instructions

I recently had the top lid to the boot of our 98 Porsche repainted as it just needed to be freshened up. The Boxster badge I had was slightly cracked, so I ordered a new set that goes on the newer Porsche. The body shop mentioned today that the badges did not come with any instructions. Looking to find out if anyone here has any instructions either from Porsche or DIY so this job gets done right as I want the Porshe letters spaced correctly. Attaching a few pictures of the set I have purchased and how it looks on the newer model Boxster. As always, appreciate the direction.

For me I did it stringing tape, easier to mark the tape with pencil marks to line up the letters.

You want a very slight upward curve or it will look like a rainbow :p
This slight upward curve will make it look level when viewed from the rear.

So would it be better to take a laser leveler aimed at it level from behind?
