I've been using a pair of Ultimate cupholders for a few years and they are excellent - best solution I've tried so far. I put them both on the passenger side to avoid any interference with my throttle leg.

Wedge cup holder

I use a seat wedge cup holder that works pretty well. It has a few downsides: 1. It takes up room on the passenger seat. 2. It is not anchored and I have had it tip a few times with larger drinks (32oz or more). It is very cheap though.
