Haha, always lots of doom and gloom to be found here. Best to do a PPI so that you know exactly what you're getting. Then bite the bullet and have fun! Hell, your transmission could drop out, a garbage truck could back into you or your cat could die of cancer! Such is life. But that's just me, but hey, I'm still livin' it!
