Zanzibar Red 986

Awesome looking Zanzibar Red 986 i have come across today while skipping over some classifieds.

Boxster S, Special one of a kind collector quality. For Sale (2000) on Car And Classic UK [C602070]

So i searched the color on here and found this fine example.

http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/48804-first-porsche.html

I love this color. What does everyone think, love it or hate it?

Saw a Boxster that color at local Porsche dealership couple years ago, had a "sold" sign on it. A photo doesn't do it justice. The color just pops, almost surreal, gotta see it in person.

You asked for opinions....so....not my favorite at all. Maybe it's my eyes, but it has a distinct orange tint to it. Nope, not for me.

that is a great color. One of the best. The only thing that would make that color pop better than it does is if it had a sand beige interior.

When ordering the Boxster Zanzibar Red was my first choice. It is much more orange than red. My wife's choice was Guards Red. Oh well.....

Some would say the same about a 2 seat convertible sports car.
How does color say that?

Quit posting while drunk.

And your post had some relevance?

As the OP was requesting opinions on this color, my post was completely relevant. It would seem that you are the one with anger issues, judging by all the rude and inappropriate posts you have made so far in this forum. (Still bitter about the big kids taking your lunch money?) You serve absolutely no purpose here and I am sure that I am not the only member wishing you would take your bad attitude and your trash talk somewhere else.

The original wording of tonichristie's post, from my email notification, prior to him editing it:
"And this had some relevance, jackhole?"

I have reported the post to the admin, noting that he has made no posts of value and posts solely to criticize and berate other members. He has been called out about this before by other members and has made no effort to change his unacceptable behavior. On this basis I have asked that he be removed from the member list. I would encourage anyone else of the same mind to also drop a line to the admin about it.

I'm saving the Carrera GT for my mid life crisis!
Of course at the rate I'm going, my "mid life" will require me to live to about 165 years old...
