I was actually doing research about before the swap. Some people retrofitted lsds from other Audis, and there are aftermarket companies that make lsds that fit in the a4 transmission.

That was the actual research I was doing! Ultimately, it boiled down to time as I wanted to throw the audi tranny in the car and get going.
