This is where it plugs into the switch. since yours is missing I would contact 986 Forum - for Porsche Boxster Owners and Others - View Profile: itsnotanova get a new one or source one as it is only a three wire switch.

I know this is a old thread but can the spoiler toggle switch be removed from the fuse panel ?

Probably not since it looks like the part that holds the actual rocker switch is molded as part of the larger fuse panel. Why remove it in the first place? You'll have bigger fish to fry as you put miles on your 98'......ask me how I know....LOL, LOL.
