After 10 yrs of blissful ownership...

My Lil Red Boxster is sold and gone. In her place sits a shiny 2009 987.2 Cayman 2.9L Doppelkupplung in Carrera white. I guess the Topless moniker no longer applies :o
So far this is a fun car though.

I removed most of the go-fast parts from the 986 before selling her so those will be appearing for sale shortly. It looks like the PSS9s and Tarett sways are already sold.

Very cool. Enjoy your new ride.

jb92563 04-08-2015 06:07 AM

No more racing or are you going to race the Cayman now?

I guess you can only beat your brother so many times before it just starts to feel routine.:D

Maybe you'll have to go redneck to keep the moniker and walk around with your driving suit top down and shirtless.

Bottom left corner. Be sure to set your site style to "Cayman".

Congrats, nice trade! What will you do with that extra ~100 hp? :-)

We'll miss you on the board, but if you promise to take your shirt off when you drive the Cayman, we'll let you still post here!

You filthy, good for nothing $@##@ - That what I want except in 'S' form with a manual

Let you keep your moniker if you find a healthy passenger to represent the moniker spirit

- I know I'm borderline here

Enjoy the shaded ride. At least your left forearm will still get a tan

Taking her to CFOS so we shall see how it goes.

My brother and I tied for points in the Z8 series last year but he had more 1st place finishes so he is the reigning CC05 champion. I did manage to post a CC05 track record at CVR in Jan so went out with a smile. The pain of being beaten by lil bro was just too great so I had to buy a faster car. :) Now to get her sorted and learn to drive this PDK thing fast. CC07 here I come...

I will probably still hang around here some as the 986 Forum is the best in terms of real knowledge and friendly membership.

Congrat's! Sorry to see you leave the World of 986 but the Cayman is a perfect dual use street/track car.

See you FoS!

White/tan leather int. maybe too elegant for the job she is heading for. Drove the canyons tonight to get used to manual shifting performance mode. She is quick!

Wow there is a lost :/ Congrats anyway. ps: pffff, not jealous a tad, not even a little, never in a million years LOLLL right

and keep that alias, you'll go back to the roof down cars very soon ;) even if its a Audi TT.... anything else topless. I bet 100% on this one... you wouldn't be the first (The Topless Bug)

Very nice! Will be interesting to hear your feedback and lap times of the stock Cayman compared to the Boxster. See you at the track.
