Cabin Fever

Hey Guys,

With the weather warming up here in CT I have been itching to go for a ride. Anyone around my area that would want to get together?

PS CT 197 west is filled with twisty's.

Enjoy your drive. It snowed 2 feet here last night and it's still snowing :(

Probably 2-3 weeks away from taking it out of storage. Might even wait a bit longer if the area doesn't do somehting about these massive potholes. This winter has been brutal.

Thanks for the invitation but can't get it out of storage for two weeks and I'm 700 miles away but your post made me think about my first top down Spring drive but wish we had some roads filled with twisties in Indiana.

Yeah same here, it keeps snowing here and if it keeps up like this I won't have it out for months! Plus need to wait until all the streets get cleaned up from the salt they lay on our roads. In the mean time I will get it all cleaned up.

We do like our salt, my black SUV was mostly white all winter, I have a 2 rain rule before taking the car out on the streets.

It was 85* in the heartland today.

We'll probably pay for this with a hot, dry summer.

Took a drive today. It was 62° F here. That's May weather for us! And it's been a really warm and dry winter out west. Just so you people in the east don't think everyone's getting a cold, wet winter; I wish we'd had more of your snow! We're 95% of normal moisture content here in the Tetons now, but California is really hurting for wetness!
No cabin fever this winter for us!

I was just outside changing tires on the Boxster - its 76F at 8:30pm.

Who needs water?

Wow! I know it was extremely dry when I was in NoCal for Parade last June. Thought maybe some of the recent rains they've been getting would help but it looks like there's a lot of replenishing to do.

I thought K&N air filters were cleanable and were supposed to last 1,000,000 miles !

DrCactus 03-17-2015 05:54 AM

Thats why I bought it... its 'new' to my car... i tossed out the old paper one that was in there... wow was it ever full of crap... poor engine couldn't breathe i bet.
