Purchased one from them earlier.

The OBC lever can be removed and just added to your current switch assembly, no need to remove steering wheel and substitute this entire unit.

Good thing as chances are the clock spring will be broken. Of course maybe you can get yours off without breaking it.

It's not that simple if intent is to also install cruise control that you don't currently have, as that control isn't removable and transferable. Sure looks that way to me, anyway.

Thanks Chack.
Just snatched it.
I think that this is the second time you give me a tip on a good deal from eBay .
Maybe I'll send you a list of parts I need and have you hunt them for me.

Damn... I didn't know one was needed. Cuts into the "good buy".

Here is one a tad cheaper....

You don't have to have it as you can cut out a spot for the 4th stalk, but it does look better with the grommet for the 4th stalk.

Don't forget the wire harness to hook it up.

I wouldn't mind having cruise control but I don't know if my right leg could give up the room for that stalk. If there was a DIY for cruise control using the buttons like for the OBC and also the wiring harness like for the OBC. I would go for that :)

Thumper 03-05-2015 07:58 AM

Your right leg would never know it's there...

I cut the spot for the OBC stalk on my trim cover, and one would have to look very closely to see it's not 100% stock in that regard. I can live with that. :)

yes. that is what i did with my previous box.
the stalk cover is the same for the 2,3,4 stalk. the only different is the rubber pice that can be cut very nicely with a bit of patience.
the lines are already marked on the inside.
