OEM Lobster Fork/Claw Wheels
Hi,
Looking to find out if the Porsche OEM Lobster Fork/ Claw wheels will be compatible with our 98 Boxster. I see these on eBay from time to time, but note sure if these will fit my Boxster or not. I am assuming that 275 will be the widest tire I can fit for the rears, but would also welcome some guidance on it. |

OEM Lobster Claws didn't appear on a Boxster until the 987 version (2005+) and they'll be 19". The offset will be what you need to key in on - 987 offset (vs 997 or 911) is 57 front, 46 rear. Find a set with those offsets and you'll be good to go. The 997 will have a different rear offset that would require a spacer.

To the OP may I say you have excellent taste (although we differ on wheels). Would you tell me how often the XKR needs fixing? Also, can you believe the price of Rolls from the 80's? Around here low mileage cars are going for $20 000 or less.

if you are looking for a set of the pictured wheels, I have a set in perfect condition. they were taken off of my 05 boxster s. private message me and make an offer.

Hi Woodsman - Thanks. The Jag has some peculiar items that need to be addressed, but once those are sorted it is a mean cat indeed. I have also made some minor mods o the exhaust as it was keeping the supercharged engine notes hidden :).
