Flip Key Boxster S 2003
 

Hi,
I am trying to source a flip key shell that can accommodate a 3 button fob for my 2003 Boxster S. I tried eBay and some other major Porsche suppliers but to no avail.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Hi thanks for your reply, however the link you sent me is for a 3 button fob like the one I presently have. I am looking for the flip type, i.e. the metal part of the key folds into the plastic case where the electronics (transmitter and transponder) are housed in.

I did this last year. Didn't work out. The fold away blade is nice when it's in your pocket, but the fob/car portion is too long and awkward in the 986. I was always worried that I'd hit it and break my ignition, especially when using the turn lever.

Of course, if you want the electronics to work, that's a whole different ballgame.
