I've read Powerstop is an excellent brand, not sure about the Prime Choice brake pads.

I have HART on my DD. Bought D&S rotors with pads 2 years ago. With over 30,000 miles on them. They look great, still stop great, no brake fade, no warped rotors. I'd buy them again. Bought on ebay for $300. I've also seen the Brakemotive brand in action, also 30,000+ miles, and they looked new as well. Have not heard or seen Prime choice. Both Hart and Brakemotive are on ebay. Good luck!!

Hart took down there listing on eBay for the Boxster S. I sent them a message if they were going to put them back up for sale. This was their response.

Ceramics are great. Almost zero brake dust. Rotors wear slow.

I have the power stop brakes on my Miata and 00 boxy. my cars are daily drivers and are not tracked. I love the brakes. low to no dust, quiet quiet quiet, and good stopping power (I have been known to drive a bit aggressively). I would so highly recommend these for a d/d car, that I am purchasing a set for my 05 987s to replace the pads which are now installed (not worn out).

I bought a complete quick strut assembly from them for my old DD Accord, and it lasted 5 years. The car went to the scrapper and the strut was still fine.
That part was $94 shipped!
I got it because of a bad bearing and this was an easier and more cost effective repair than disassembling a 9 year old strut to replace a faulty part and then try to get it back together.
Yes, I would buy from them again.

If I was going to buy street pads for my Boxster I would probably buy the Centric Posi-quiet Premium with shims (which I believe means come with the brake hardware too like it did on my son's Miata). It comes in several formulas, Ceramic, Semi-Metallic, and "OEM" formula. My son has used them on his Miata and we have been very happy. He also used them on a track day and used about half of the fronts in one weekend :) He is now running some EBC Yellow that his instructor gave him last September at that track weekend, man those things are dusty :) I am running EBC RedStuff on my Boxster which is mostly HPDE and Autocross now and they have been great, but they are also "street friendly" too. They are low dust, but you still get low dust on the track. Not nearly as much as the Yellow stuff which is more track/race oriented.

I ended up buying PowerStop on Amazon
Front:
Amazon.com: Power Stop (16-917) Z16 Ceramic Brake Pad: Automotive

Rear:
Amazon.com: Power Stop (16-738) Z16 Ceramic Brake Pad: Automotive

Only difference is I got the front pads for $10.97, not $41.94 as they are now listed.
I think they must have been mispriced, so my total for both front and rear was $58 including tax and 2 day shipping!

Ill be putting them on later this week and will update on how they feel/perform, especially as I will be going to the track for a DE at the end end of the month.
If they turn out to be crap, Ill replace them and only be out $60

I ran powerstop ceramics on my BMW before I sold it and was not impressed. Screeching so loud my neighbors could hear it inside their homes when I left for work.

No appreciable dust though. That was the upside.

Interesting, every review I read said they were very quite. I am not discounting your experience

I will find out pretty soon

whenever I install a set of brake pads I will apply a thin skin of high heat silicone to the rear of the pad to further reduce the chance of chatter. with the power stop pads I did this also. they are dead quiet on both my Miata and 00 boxy. perhaps this is overkill but a little extra preparation seems to work well for me.
