Boxster S Front bumper cover trim
 

I installed a Bumper cover from a 2000 Boxster S on my Base. I bought the center trim and the black retaining piece for it but I still fail to see how it secures to the bumper. My Bentley manual only shows a diagram for the base bumper and I cant find any other related parts. Heres a picture of what I have.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1422218767.jpg

I recently pulled the bumper to clean the radiators and noticed my tabs were just melted over to hold it on. Almost like someone used a soldering iron on it.

On my 2000 S that center piece is permanently bonded on somehow. The two side ones just clipped on the center one was permanent.
