Power Seat Upgrade for my Boxster?

First time posting here

I'm looking to upgrade my seats from the 2 way power to the full power seats. The replacement seats come out of a 986. Is this plug & play - and possible?

On a side note - i heard that the full power seats can be adjusted a bit higher than the 2 way seats? Anyone know if that is true. My wife is 5' and has issues seeing over the cluster.

Thanks!

Greetings and welcome to the forum.

This video explains the process for wiring the full power seats into a harness designed for a two-way power seat. If you are not handy with electrical work, a good mechanic may be able to follow the video for guidance on performing the work. I have not done this myself so I cannot guarantee the results.

I also don't know the answer to your question about the height adjustment. It certainly would be easier to adjust the seats with the power option.
