KW V3 install question

Picked up a set of KW V3 struts for my 986. I noticed one pair has these "tabs" on the bracket bent over while the other pair has the tabs out at 90 degrees.

I suspect they differentiate between right and left sides, does anyone know for sure?

That tab looks damaged - both should be @ 90 deg as per picture #2.
You should be able to bend it straight as the tabs are used for the rubber grommets holding the electrical wires for the brake sensors & ABS IIRC.

Thanks! It was just such heavy gauge material it seemed odd that two were bent over so tight.
