Sometimes, I am SOOOO glad I'm not young anymore.

But I like to think that even when I was young, I did had some semblance of taste.

Just sayin'.........

How are those even legal??? LOL

BIGJake111 12-14-2014 04:29 PM

We have a kid at school with them on his RX 8. Pretty gaudy. fast and furious has ruined this generation of enthusiast if you ask me. If I wanted to impress people at school I would do way better with a tuned celica than my 986 if you can believe that.

But your 986 is more eye catching to every adult on the road.

It's for my personal driving pleasure (and the lucky passenger) anyways! Doesn't matter if they see it as a 2000 beater or a classic Porsche.

Hear, hear! :)
Like TO, sometimes (actually most of the time) I'm glad I'm not young anymore.

Wow, nice find! Although I'm sure you posted that for another purpose

Clearly a true Lighting Artist. Those of you who've are familiar with the traditional Japanese/Tuner Car Meet should understand where this is coming from. I do the annual Daikoku Futo meet up in Japan (and make sure not to miss it).... and this guy would have won a lot of attention with his work there.

As crazy as this appears to some, it is still a work of art!

I think you guys in L.A. runs a very similar annual car show(s). You should give it a try.... pretty entertaining, and relaxing

The way these lights work smacks of an emergency vehicle and I am sure is far from being legal in the US. Buyer beware.

AKL:confused:

I want them as soon as I install the yellow exaust pipes
http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/54344-where-can-i-get-those-yellow-pipes.html

mikesz 12-15-2014 06:19 AM

I would rather put Bilsteins on my car.

clickman 12-15-2014 06:43 AM

Are we sure this isn't Particlewave's latest "experiment"? :p

Perfectlap 12-15-2014 06:44 AM

Well clearly illegal but that site he's marketing has some pretty cool alternatives..

I wish there was a SAFE, modern RWD, mt, coupe with a boxer engine for small money when I was deemed a safety risk by the insurance company.
Great car.

If you like them that much Norm, I'd be happy to build you a set :D
The customer is always right, or something...

No, you didn't. And it's actually gotten worse with age and senility, based on your recent posts. :barf:
Do your grandparents tastes mean anything today? Nope. Neither will yours tomorrow.

The headlights are very festive and Christmas-y :)
I wouldn't put them on my car, but I'm not going to knock anyone for it.

TeamOxford 12-15-2014 10:41 AM

And your recent posts are arrogant, insulting and full of hate. How can such a young woman have so much hate inside?

I had, and still have, enough taste to treat people with respect, and I could disagree with their point of view without trying to bully them. Perhaps you’ll learn this as YOU get older.

j.fro 12-15-2014 11:19 AM

I'm not a fan of the lights themselves, but it is good to see a product that required creativity, intelligence, skill, and some perseverance to build.
Thanks for posting

I like the sequential blinkers- a lot. I would love to install them but it would clash with the understated class of Baby. Enduring beauty requires the strength to resist temptation....
