Beautiful, I have a 2000 S too. Looks like you are right down the road from Carolina Motorsports Park. If you ever wanted to check out driving on a track you can check out the PCA which runs driver education events there. :)

Congrats and welcome. And with picture! That color looks great! Looks like it changes color depending on the light? Can we see some more?

Timco 10-20-2014 06:11 PM

When I lived in Charlotte and my boys split their time between me and their mom in Moncks corner, sc I used to drive right by it all the time. Now that I am in FL it is kind of far... I never did make it before I moved, but I am going to try to go their with Carolinas Region PCA next year.

Congrats, that's a major beauty! One of the best Boxster colors ever. ;)

Great Shot..

schnellman 10-22-2014 10:54 AM

Congrats!

A truly beautiful color. She'll look even better when you get those headlights de-ambered.

mrs. robinson 10-22-2014 02:05 PM

Beautiful Boxster! Congrats and welcome!!

Einherjar 10-22-2014 06:09 PM

Yes the headlights, was wondering what would have caused that...there are 2 holes in each lens with a burnt amber color to them. How do you fix that shy of replacing the whole assembly?

That was recently discussed. It is a very common problem. There doesn't seem to be any cheap and easy way to deal with it. Here's the thread:

Beautiful color. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy!!!

I love the color as well! CMP is one of the safest, cheapest tracks to start out on, it's definitely worth a trip if that's something you're interested in doing.

austinkthompson 10-25-2014 01:10 PM

Looks great! I've actually never seen that color before on any Porsche! And hello from South Carolina (Beaufort to be exact)!
