I live on the mainland now, but grew up in Hawaii and go back quite often. Going off the beaten path is the best bet. Where are you staying?

2. Honolulu Zoo - 3. Macadamia Nut Farm - 4. Diamond Head - Try to hike the top of the crater 5. Waikiki Aquarium Your best bet is to go to any hotel bars specially ones on the beach. Nothing like having a nice cool drink and watch bikini's all evening. I'd stay away from local bars outside of Waikiki specially the Korean Bars. They bar girls will eat your money in no time. $20.00 drink for each drink you buy for them. If you have a chance take a drive to Roundtop drive. There's a lookout at the top of the mountain. Beautiful views. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1413603410.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1413603433.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1413603451.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1413603564.jpg |
awesome ! thanks for the advise with the korean bars ! haha
i wouldn't go there anyway. not my flavor :) great pics. ! ill def. check out that look out point. |
1. Yardhouse on Lewers Street is good, but can get packed.
2. Rumfire Bar at the Sheraton is cool at night. 3. Venture to downtown Honolulu. They have a lot of cool bars and restaurants that have popped up over the last few years. 4. Wailana coffee shop is a good place for breakfast or late nights - it's across the street from the Hilton. 5. Barefoot bar at the Hale Koa. It's next door to you and right on the beach. The military owns it, but anyone is welcomed. 6. Ko'olina Lagoons on the westside - It's in the Ko'olina resort area (the Monkey Pod bar is cool - good music). 7. North shore ("Da Country") to see the surf. There's ton more to see and do.... |
