GT3 Seats

Found 2 996 GT3 seats that I'm contemplating for my Boxster. I'm 6'5, and looking for more head/legroom. Will mounting GT3 seats directly to the floor grant an advantage in room over the stock seats on sliders? Any advice or experience with the seats would be greatly appreciated. (also, I am not heavy-set so fitting in these seats should not be a problem)

Yes, mounting them to the floor without sliders is the ticket. Honestly, I don't miss the sliders at all.

it's about an inch or inch and half lower than the lowest driving position. Maybe two inches. It definitely changes the viewing angle.
Out of curiosity once I had my friend's kid brother who is a little shorter than you put on my helmet and get in for a rough broom stick test. His head was still above the windshield by a good couple of inches.
You can install the Brey Krause bar to lower the seat a little more.

Gt3 seats completely change the experience. It'll be the best money you've ever spent on our car.

Unless you are the only person who will ever drive or ride in your car, you may want to consider your wife, children, friends, and other potential future passengers like business clients when making a decision about seats.
